a look back on the “simpler times”
Remember the feeling of cheersing drinks, while sitting with your friends in a bustling bar surrounded by happy chatter and ambient spotify playlists? I know; it feels far away for me too. That’s why I so loved looking back on Heather and Bryan’s SteamWhistle Brewery engagement session from November, and reminisce about the “simpler times”. I love when my couples are as passionate about the city as I am, and Heather and Bryan were no exception. This is a couple with an undeniable passion for exploring everything Toronto has to offer by way of restaurants, cafes, bars, and breweries. Which is exactly why the iconic SteamWhistle Brewery and new Biergärten was the perfect choice of venue for their engagement session! We met in the late afternoon last November and sat at long wooden tables to raise our pilsners to toast this exciting occasion. The couple spoke candidly about the importance of feeling effortless in their wedding/engagement photos, ones that will capture their genuine affection for each other while feeling comfortable and easy during the experience. My speciality! So we set out and explored all the nooks and crannies of the brewery. I always love shooting at SteamWhistle for weddings or engagement sessions, it’s a dream venue to shoot at; from the dark wooden interior to their bright new Biergärten, where we settled in at the end of our session for one last pint! Thank you Heather and Bryan for spending the afternoon with me and sharing your positive vibes! I can’t wait for your fall wedding!
