Where to even begin with these two mega babe rockstars?

Well I think that the world works in mysterious ways. I was so lucky to have met them both at a wedding I photographed in the spring time. We chatted a little bit and connected over a few things so decided to connect on Instagram where we'd briefly stay in touch. Fast forward a few months when Elisa proposed to Alessia surrounded by stunning rose petals at The Rivoli.

So naturally we had to start planning their downtown Toronto engagement session, I asked the girls (as I do with most couples), where are some of the places you frequent? what's your favourite activity to do together? etc. Alessia and Elisa both laughed (and were joking) when they said, "how about McDonalds?!". And I was all for it! Hey why not? 

So it was decided, they were having a McDonalds engagement session! Which I think is hilarious and amazing. 1. it's totally them, and you can feel the laughter in each of the photos as they had a blast together and 2. engagement sessions don't need to be of you in a field with the sun setting, yes that can be great. But why not do something unique, something special, something that is so totally YOU!  

So now have a scroll through these girls' session and try to tell me you weren't smiling away with them! 

Go break some rules and do whatever the heck you want for your wedding/engagement photos!
