To see two people so supportive and in sync with one another, it’s no question that they should be joined in life.
Liz and Steph were married at Balls Falls Conservation area, immersed in the forest and with all their favourite people while they said their “I do’s”. When it was calling for heavy rain on their wedding day, they didn’t even bat an eye (I might precursor that we shot their engagement session during a windy rain storm on a beach). Each of them joked with me on the morning of their wedding day, “It’s okay, we know how to deal with that now”! Both of these bride’s embodied the laid back, go with the flow vibes that I dream of for all my couples on their wedding day! They each got ready with their separate bridal parties before seeing each other. Their first look in front of the old carriage house was ADORABLE! Scroll down to see their reactions!
These two ladies were all set to make their promises to one another outside surrounded by lush green trees and under a beautiful macrame arch. But when it did start raining, it meant that they would have to move their ceremony indoors or simply wait it out. I could tell how heart broken Liz was, but Steph calming and lovingly spoke to Liz about the 2 options, and together they made the final call to move everything indoors. I told them both not to worry and that after the ceremony if it had stopped raining, even for a moment, or even under an umbrella we would get out there and take some photos with that arch! Thankfully, shortly after the ceremony, the rain had stopped and we were able to get those shots I know she was looking for!
Their day was filled with fantastic speeches, supportive family, huge smiles (I don’t think Steph could’ve have wiped that smile off even if she tried!) and 2 ladies madly in love! I am so thankful to have celebrated and captured their love! A big thanks to my associate Alex for second shooting with me on this one!
