When it comes to choosing what to do or where to go for your Toronto engagement session, the possibilities are endless! Toronto is filled with so many pockets of interesting streets, small tucked away parks, vibing neighbourhoods, hip coffee shops, flower shops, unique breweries and endless restaurants to try. So when the time comes to choose what to do in Toronto for your engagement session, the city really is your oyster! (believe it or not, I’ve actually done an engagement session where the couple shucked oysters!) So whether you’d like to enjoy a slice of nature and seek out a park or forested area, or you are true urbanites and like to spend your time lost in graffitied alleys or old streets there is something for everyone!I’ve rounded up some Toronto engagement session ideas and some of my favourite sessions over the last couple years in the city. From brewery hoping, caffeine refills, bikes rides and hanging out on parking garage rooftops I’ve had a blast creating in this city and can’t wait to do more of it in 2021.
Bandit Brewery sits on Dundas St W right in the trendy area of Roncesvalles, in the warmer months try grabbing a spot on their large outdoor patio and bask under the multiple strings of lights. On the chillier days head inside to one of their many tables, there’s even a large bar top.
Toronto has so many distinct neighbourhoods scattered around the city! From Little Italy to Cabbagetown, Distillery District, or Kensington Market. Whether you love the one you live in or frequent a different one, why not try exploring your favourite neighbourhood in the city? Just wandering the streets, stopping in little shops along the way can make. for a fun filled engagement session with different backdrops. Then of course there are parks to explore too! From the big ones like Evergreen Brickworks located in the Don Valley, to High Park in the west end. So bust out the bikes and picnic basket and pull up some grass in one of the city’s many parks!
