Leonie and Matt’s English countryside wedding was a rustic dream!
Full of laughing friends, smiling family members, a great band, heartfelt vows and a rad bridal party! I met Leonie and Matt last summer when I photographed Matt’s brother’s wedding in Jamaica. We instantly hit it off and seeing as they were already engaged Leonie reached out to me shortly after the trip. She asked if I would come to the UK to capture her and Matt’s special countryside wedding! I mean obviously I couldn’t say no to being a part of their day and get a little adventure in mid wedding season.Mythe Barn was the perfect setting in the countryside for their wedding. The girls prepped themselves in the upper attic overlooking the ceremony space and the boys tied ties and cheersed (that’s a word right?) in the converted stables. After their beautiful ceremony under a copper arch, handmade by a good friend, it was nothing but smiles, drinks and laughs for the rest of the evening. After bridal party portraits they asked anyone and everyone over to have photos, documenting all their closest who had made the trip out to celebrate with them. Nana & Grandad even had a little portrait session, and if you know me I’m a sucker for a Grandad at a wedding! <3Leonie & Matt, thank you for including me in your countryside wedding!
