were just a few of our stops for Mona and Nick’s Kensington Market engagement session in downtown Toronto. This Kensington Market engagement was extra special for 2 reasons;1. I went to highschool with Mona and it was amazing to reconnect and hear what shes’s been up to, and of course meet her amazing beau, Nick!2. Kensington Market holds a special place in my heart, as it’s not only where I call home, but also where my relationship with Christian began and our story continues.Mona and Nick both lived in Toronto and met through mutual friends, when their first date was supposed to be a baseball game that didn’t work out, they opted to wander Kensington Market. We recreated that first date by stopping at the same taco place, this time opting for churros! We were surprised with confetti through the streets and an empty parking lot for some rad skyline shots. A typical evening for Mona and Nick is listening to records at home, so we stopped in at Sonic Boom where they both made a straight line to the 90s rap and hip hop section – their fav genre! We flipped through records and they picked out a few to add to their collection before we called it a night.Thank you Mona and Nick for spending an amazingly, relaxed, sugar and confetti filled evening with me in our shared favourite spot in the city! <3Keep an eye out for some wedding sneak peeks from these two in the next couple of days!!
